When Does Anything Leave Your Device?

The short answer: only when you choose a cloud AI provider, and only when you tap Send.

  • Apple Intelligence: Nothing ever leaves your phone. Zero network requests.
  • Claude / ChatGPT: Your message + relevant portfolio context goes directly to that provider over TLS with certificate pinning. We're not a middleman.
  • Llama via Ollama: Talks to your own machine on your local network. Cloud-free.
  • Market data (Alpha Vantage): We send only the ticker symbols you've added. No personal info.

What about market data?

Quotes come from Alpha Vantage. We send your tickers ("AAPL", "VTI") — nothing else. No account info, no transaction history, no identifiers. Just symbols.

What if I delete the app?

All your data is deleted with it. We have nothing to retain because we never had it in the first place.
